Course Details

Objectives : To train scientists and researchers who wish to specialise in the fields of Astrophysics and Astronomy.
Two options are available:
- Astrophysics
-Dynamics of gravitational systems.

ThisM2 for research offers a wide range of lessons that can both discover and develop the key themes and methods of astronomy and astrophysics today (Planetology, exoplanets, stellar physics, compact objects, high Astrophysics energies, interstellar medium and galaxies, cosmology, astrometry, celestial mechanics, etc..). The lessons cover aspects related to the observation, instrumentation (ground & space), theory and modeling.

Concerned public : students

Level of training : I

Admission requirements : - M1 graduates in the fields of Physics, Applied Physics, Mathematics or Mechanical Engineering
- engineers from the Grandes Ecoles or students from the Ecoles Nationales Supérieures

Duration and terms : 2 semesters

Partnerships with national organisations : Universités ParisXII, de Versailles-Saint Quentin, de Cergy-Pontoise, ENS, INSTN et lENSG
