Course Details

Objectives : ELISA Aerospace trains systems engineers, experts in complex systems engineering, ready to meet the technological, environmental, and societal challenges of the aerospace sector.

With a presence in two major aerospace hubs in France, ELISA Aerospace prepares the talents of tomorrow to transform the industry, integrating the challenges of the ecological transition, artificial intelligence, and new technologies.

INTEGRATED PREPARATORY CYCLE
ELISA Aerospace's integrated preparatory program effectively prepares engineering students for further studies. Through practical projects and structured teaching, students enter the engineering cycle with a solid scientific foundation and a clear vision of their career path.
The advantage of the tailored first-year curriculum allows engineering students to review and consolidate their knowledge in fundamental sciences such as mathematics, physics, and electronics in a small group setting. This educational approach allows them to begin their studies with a solid foundation in these fundamental sciences, a knowledge base that will serve them throughout their learning and skills development.

At the end of each year, students complete their first internships. They are also immersed in aerospace culture and can get involved in the activities of the various student associations on each campus.

ENGINEERING PROGRAM
The engineering program forms the core of the curriculum and gradually leads students toward the professional world.
Engineering students acquire solid skills in the scientific and technological fields necessary for the design, implementation, and maintenance of aeronautical and space systems. Team projects in mechatronics and drones allow them to apply their knowledge to real-world situations. Future engineers choose a specialization at the beginning of their fourth year: three options are available.

• Aeronautical Systems Engineering (ISA),
• Missile and Space Systems Engineering (IM2S),
• Drone and Collaborative Autonomous Systems Engineering (IDSAC).

Finally, the 16-week international experience in the first semester of the fourth year allows students to develop skills for working in a multicultural team.

Public concerned : Students in initial training

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : General Baccalaureate with Mathematics specialization + science specialization in the final year / General Baccalaureate with Mathematics specialization in the final year and science specialization taken in the penultimate year / STI2D and STL Baccalaureate

Acquired skills during the training : The aerospace systems engineer combines a comprehensive understanding of complex systems in the aeronautics, space, and defense sectors with in-depth technical expertise and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary environments.
Our trained engineers not only master the technical aspects of their field but also the interactions between different subsystems, making them particularly well-suited to managing projects with a strong integration component.
Our systems engineers work in today's strategic sectors: aeronautics, space, and defense, as well as maritime and nuclear, which are experiencing significant recruitment needs.

Targeted careers : Research & development, design office, projects and programs/ testing, integration and simulations/ production, lean and quality/ operations

Duration and terms : 5 years scientific specialties
