Course Details

Objectives : The BTS CIEL (Advanced Vocational Diploma in Computer Science and Electronic Networks) trains students in the development of interconnected objects for industry (automotive, aeronautics) and housing to optimize energy consumption, as well as for the service sector to facilitate user access.

Graduates of the BTS CIEL – Cybersecurity, Computer Science and Electronic Networks – develop and operate networked or non-networked computer applications and systems for the production of capital goods and technical services.

The Electronics and Networks specialization trains students in the study, design, production, integration, and maintenance of electronic products: designing hardware and software structures, producing and assembling electronic components, creating models and prototypes (for testing and trials), and maintaining and repairing electronic systems and products. They also acquire the skills to implement computer networks: organizing interventions when necessary, installing computer systems, and managing and operating computer networks.

Degree Level (EU) : 5 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Targeted careers : This two-year post-secondary diploma (bac+2) offers the opportunity to become a technician in the following sectors:

Aeronautics, automotive, telecommunications, meteorology, industrial or consumer electronics, education, research and development, government administration, and the public sector (EDF, SNCF, etc.).

The BTS is a diploma designed for professional integration. However, with a very good academic record or a distinction in the exam, it is possible to continue studies in a professional bachelor's degree in the sector, in a bachelor's degree in engineering sciences or electronics, or in a post-bac+2 industrial technology preparatory class (ATS) in order to enter an engineering school.
