Ingénieur en Conception mécanique pour l’énergie et les transports (en apprentissage)

Course Details

Objectives : In the era of industrial renewal, France has chosen to orient its economic and industrial development strategy around several key technologies, leaving a significant part to the energy and transport sectors of the future.
In this context, UTBM has chosen to set up a new engineering training in “Work-study Mechanics” to train young people capable of developing innovative solutions to address these different societal challenges, without neglecting technologies. innovative support, synonymous with sustainable development and substantial productivity gains (Robotics, Factory of the Future, Recycling and Green Materials, etc.).

Scientific knowledge: mathematics, solid and fluid mechanics, thermal, thermodynamics, materials, product design, design of machines and mechanisms, computer-aided design, etc.

Techniques and methods: digital modeling and calculation, lean design and collaborative design in plm environment, sensors and actuators, classic and new energies, engineering for new transport systems (automobile, 2-wheel, nautical, aeronautics, space, etc.)

The engineer resulting from this training has solid scientific and technical skills, particularly in the field of design of mechanical, thermomechanical, or even mechatronic products and systems. Thanks to a true culture of scientific and technical excellence and a daily practice of innovation, and with industrial experience acquired through work-study training, it is able to integrate into any company in the field of mechanics, and in particular those relating to the transport or energy sector.
