Course Details

Objectives : Focused on innovation and technological development, the B.U.T. Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing trains the actors of the world of tomorrow in three years.

It transmits knowledge and helps develop skills to work in the fields of the city and industry of the future, smart and connected networks, transport and electromobility, aeronautics, renewable energies, management and distribution of energy, health, audiovisual, robotics, space, etc.

Multipurpose diploma, the B.U.T. GEII's mission is to train you as middle managers capable of setting up and managing electrical installations, of designing, producing, programming and maintaining fixed or on-board electronic cards (automotive, avionics, robotics, etc.), of automate and control industrial processes.

You will also be able to manage and maintain industrial computer networks, analyze and develop systems for processing and transmitting information.

In addition to a common core, you will choose a progressive specialization from the second year, in line with your skills and aspirations:

Automation and Industrial Computing (AII): Supervision / Human-Machine interface / robotics / vision / industrial production / industry 4.0 / internet of things / cybersecurity ...
Electricity and Energy Management (EME): Production, distribution, installation, conversion, storage of energy / urban transport, rail, aeronautics / electrified vehicles / safety of industrial systems / efficiency and energy transition ...
Electronics and Embedded Systems (ESE): Analysis, design, production, installation, maintenance of communicating, autonomous, electronic and digital embedded systems / home automation / robotics / transport / audiovisual / health, etc.

Public concerned : Students

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : Student records

Prerequisites : French scientific Baccalauréat or equivalent diploma

Acquired skills during the training : The Electricity and Energy Management (ÉMÉ) course aims to provide the ability to supervise teams of technicians and work in collaboration with engineers on the study, testing and production phases, and to monitor production. electrical energy conversion systems and to intervene in maintenance processes. This course will allow graduates to integrate sectors linked to the production and distribution of electrical energy, industrial electrical installation, urban and rail transport, electrified vehicles, marine, aeronautics and space, operational safety of industrial systems, electromechanical and power electronics converters, electrical energy storage, industrial or humanoid robots, drones, renewable energies and energy efficiency.

With the Electricity and Energy Management course, students will participate in the digital transformation of businesses and the energy transition towards the world of tomorrow (industry of the future, smart grid, smart city)!

Targeted careers : Technical framework in the fields of electrical engineering and energy, electronics and embedded systems, industrial computing and automation (studies and design, installation management, maintenance, quality control tests, etc.) ), technical-commercial executive, project manager, assistant business manager, project manager, developer, business or study manager, maintenance manager, advisor, consultant, assistant engineer, test manager, design technician, integrator.

Duration and terms : 3 years
