Licence Sciences pour l'Ingénieur - Parcours EEA

Course Details

Objectives : The Bachelor of Science in Engineering covers the disciplines of physics, directly related to the engineering professions. These disciplines are approached from their theoretical as well as experimental aspects.
The objective of this course is to give students a field of knowledge and skills relating to the different disciplines of the EEA, through theoretical and experimental learning (analog, digital and power electronics, metrology, signal processing, systems slaved, electromagnetism…). Mastering mathematical formalisms, numerical methods and computer tools to aid in solving are among the skills targeted.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : Academic:
• L1: hold a scientific baccalaureate or an equivalent diploma,
• L2 or L3: after a scientific L1 or L2, a DUT or a BTS close to the targeted specialty or a preparatory class for the grandes écoles.
Linguistics:
• L1: a B2 level at the TCF is required, possibly B1 if the academic record is exceptional,
• L2, L3: a B2 level at the TCF is required.

Acquired skills during the training : Transversal skills
• Use computer tools, office automation and the Internet;
• Communicate: write clearly, prepare communication materials, speak in public, discuss in English;
• Team working.

General scientific skills
• Mobilize knowledge from different disciplinary fields.
• Implement an experimental approach: use the most common devices and measurement techniques; identify sources of error; analyze experimental data.
• Use mathematical and statistical tools.
• Read and use a technical document.
Skills specific to the EEA course
• Use of measurement techniques in the fields of electronics, electrical engineering and automation: synthesis and analysis of electrical diagrams, modeling of automatic systems, management of the power of a machine.
• Use of instrumentation techniques: choice and use of measurement sensors; signal analysis and processing.

Duration and terms : 3 years
