Course Details

Objectives : The first objective of the training is to provide an understanding of space systems, their environment and constraints, and their capabilities in the fields of earth observation, communications and navigation.
The second objective is to enable learners, using examples and experimental work, to grasp the interest of space systems for spatial applications and services in different domains, with or without the inclusion of other data. Learners will be able to propose and design tools and solutions to problems in the fields of environment, agriculture, transport and urban planning, etc.
In this way, the trained public will be able to better understand the performance of space systems and thus to specify the needs of users and to develop new applications and complementary integrated services based on data and Images from space systems and other sources (eg aerial photographs, field data, etc.).
