Master EEA - Parcours Ingénierie des Systèmes Temps Réel (ISTR)

Course Details

Objectives : The ISTR course is aimed at students with a profile oriented towards automatic and real-time, autonomous and/or embedded systems:
– holder of an EEA license or equivalent, for entry into M1,
– having a first year of master validated for an entry in M2.
The purpose of the M2 EEA-ISTR is to complete the knowledge acquired in the first year (in the fields of discrete event automation, continuous time automation, industrial computing and system design) with advanced lessons around the reliability , dependability , system control , real - time networks , diagnosis of discrete event systems .

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : For entry in M1:
The Master 1 EEA ISTR is a continuation of the courses offered in the EEA degree of the Paul Sabatier University, but there is no full access to Master 1 EEA: All students who have acquired a level of Licenses may apply.
Foreign students holding a foreign diploma must obtain information in order to use the application procedure adapted to them (Study in France, ...).

For direct entry into M2:
- Students holding the first year of the Master EEA ISTR of Paul Sabatier University are admitted as of right in M2.
- Students who hold another M1 from Paul Sabatier University or an M1 (or equivalent) from another French institution must apply on the university's website.
- Foreign students holding a foreign diploma must obtain information in order to use the application procedure adapted to them (Study in France, ...).

Acquired skills during the training : Skills specific to the course:
Formalize a complex dynamic behavior integrating temporal constraints.
Analyze the properties of a model with regard to the needs specified by the specifications.
Synthesize a continuous, sampled or discrete event control law.
Implement a reactive and/or real-time application on computer or programmable electronic support.
Analyze and test the dependability of a reactive application.

Targeted careers : IT activities (software engineering, operation, maintenance, security), space aeronautics, research-innovation, robotics, electronics & electrical industry, instrumentation

Duration and terms : 4 semesters
