BUT Mesures Physiques

Course Details

Objectives : From September 2021, the DUT in its current form is no longer offered in the IUT training offer. The new reference diploma for IUTs is the B.U.T., University Bachelor of Technology. It will remain possible to integrate the 2nd year of a DUT in 2021-2022, in 3 years corresponding to 180 European credits.

The purpose of the Physical Measurements departments is to train senior technicians in instrumentation (testing, testing, research and development, etc.), industrial control and metrology with a broad spectrum of skills in the physics, Electronics, chemistry and materials.
The graduate of a DUT "Physical Measurements" must be able in particular:

To define specifications that meet a need for measurement, testing or analysis,
To develop and implement the measurement, testing and analysis devices meeting the specifications,
To ensure the maintenance, calibration or verification of these devices,
To manage a fleet of instruments in a quality assurance context,
To communicate in spoken and written English,
To write a report, and to present it.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : The training is open to all students holding a baccalaureate (in particular S, STI2D) or who are granted an exemption or an equivalence.
Recruitment is done on file by an admission jury.
