Course Details
Objectives : Located halfway between geography and computer science, geomatics is a discipline constantly flirting with new technologies.
In the era of “big data”, she is particularly interested in the spatial aspect of digital data: from their creation (topography, 3D scanners, drones, GNSS, satellite imagery, etc.) to their cartographic exploitation ( web and smartphone applications, augmented and virtual reality, urban security, construction, land use planning, environment, geomarketing, etc.).
In a world where nearly 80% of the data produced is spatial, geomatics is at the heart of our daily activities.
Public concerned : Students
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
