Objectives : The Energy Performance Manager is responsible for all aspects contributing to the site's energy performance (energy consumption and losses). Their role is to improve the company's overall energy performance. To achieve this, they will work collaboratively with their team. They will serve as the energy expert, working on the various energy production methods to optimize them. They will also ensure compliance with applicable energy regulations. Their role will also involve defining the company's energy consumption reduction targets (the company's energy policy), and they will be accountable to management for meeting these targets. To fulfill their mission, they utilize advanced technical skills, such as thermal, thermodynamic, and applied physics calculations.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Acquired skills during the training : As the program progresses, students will acquire skills in sizing various industrial energy production systems. They will learn to identify energy efficiency opportunities, including the possibility of reusing waste energy. They will be able to implement an energy management system and will be competent in monitoring it (energy audits). They will optimize energy contracts and accounting and ensure compliance with energy-related regulations.
