Licence Professionnelle Parcours Conception et Commande numérique des Systèmes Electriques Embarqués - Gestion de l’Energie Informatique Industrielle (LP CCSEE_GE2I)

Course Details

Objectives : The Professional Degree in “Design and Control of Embedded Electrical Systems” allows students to acquire multidisciplinary skills (power electronics, electronics, process control and control, automation/servo control and industrial computing) associated with the industrial constraints of embedded systems (operational safety, specific standards, energy management, quality, project management, specific power, etc.).
Its objective is to train senior technicians at L3 level capable of assisting engineers in the implementation of an energy management policy via the establishment of dedicated test benches.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : • DUT GEII (Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing)
• DUT Physical Measurements
• BTS Electrotechnics (Advanced Vocational Diploma)
• BTS Electronic Systems
• Second year of a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
• Any program with a majority of courses in Electrical Engineering and Automation (EEA)
• Any professional background eligible for VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience): High school diploma level with professional experience and validation of prior learning (VA-85)

Prerequisites : Courses that automatically lead to a Professional Bachelor's degree (subject to the student having the required level in EEA subjects and/or at least a positive recommendation for further study from the previous course)

Acquired skills during the training : • Design and validate embedded electronic systems according to specifications imposed within design offices (SMEs and large groups)
• Command and control of embedded systems
• Write technical specifications
• Develop suitable test benches
• Model components and systems using various solutions (MATLAB, VHDL, etc.)
• Use and program measuring devices
• Select, model, and design components to develop embedded electrical systems
• Select power sources and storage solutions specific to embedded and autonomous systems
• Use simulation and development languages ??and tools (MATLAB, VHDL, C, LabVIEW, etc.)
• Read, understand, and modify a design plan from a design office

Targeted careers : - Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager (SME/Large Group Engineering Offices)
- Design Engineer specializing in technical and technological platforms
- Assistant/Project Manager for Electrical Engineering companies
- Assistant/Project Manager for Automation and Industrial Computing companies

Duration and terms :
• 450 hours of university coursework over the year
• 150 hours of supervised university projects
• 16 weeks of internship

Notes : The training welcomes professionals wishing to validate acquired knowledge through continuing education with a view to recognition of skills and/or career development. It also offers work-study training in the form of a professionalization contract.
