Master Géologie, géophysique (2G)

Course Details

Objectives : After a first year of the Master's program, which provides a common foundation, the Geology and Geophysics (2G) track at Université Côte d'Azur emphasizes research, fieldwork, and professional development.

- The program prepares students to conduct measurement programs, interpret data, and develop models for the study and monitoring of natural systems.

- Learning is based on mastering cutting-edge geological and geophysical tools, as well as designing theoretical and predictive models applied to marine geosciences and resources.

- The program opens the door to pursuing a doctorate at Géoazur, an internationally renowned laboratory ranked among the top 100 in Earth sciences worldwide (Shanghai Ranking).

The 2G track is affiliated with the Géoazur laboratory, ranked among the top 100 Earth Sciences laboratories worldwide according to the Shanghai 2024 Thematic Ranking.

This multidisciplinary laboratory conducts cutting-edge research in the fields of geology, geophysics, seismology, geodesy, geochemistry, hydrology, geography and planetology.
