Course Details

Objectives :
- Scientific knowledge of materials (ceramics, glass, metals, plastics, composites, biomaterials) to understand and measure their properties.
- Implementation of different materials which allow the development of a practical sense and reality which is currently in high demand.
- Teaching of design (CAD) and digital calculation (Simulation), modern tools used by advanced design teams.
- English and Expression are extremely important in an increasingly international and demanding environment in the mastery of communication techniques.
- Further studies: Engineering School, Master.

The BUT SGM is available as an apprenticeship for third-year students. After two years of acquiring knowledge in the first and second years SGM, students are offered the possibility of having a 1-year apprenticeship contract either for the Materials and Product Engineering Professions (MIMP) course, or for the Professions in the characterization and expertise of materials and products (MCEMP) course.
