BUT Génie électrique et informatique industrielle GEII, Parcours Electronique et Systèmes Embarqués (ESE)

Course Details

Objectives : The goal. GEII trains middle managers who work in the fields of electricity, electronics, industrial IT, automation, robotics and energy. Graduates are capable of meeting the challenges of new technologies and industry 4.0.

In the second year, the Electronics and Embedded Systems (ESE) course will lead the student to analyze, design and create electronic systems.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Prerequisites : General French Baccalauréat, specialty courses or options: “mathematics”, “physics - chemistry”, “engineering sciences”, “digital and computer science”.
French Technological baccalauréat (STI2D)

Acquired skills during the training : - Manage electrical installations
- Design, produce, program fixed or embedded electronic cards
- Automate and control industrial processes
- Manage and maintain industrial computer networks
- Program and control industrial robots

In companies, graduates of the ESE Course will be able to supervise technicians, work in collaboration with engineers, in order to integrate, program, install, communicate and maintain electronic equipment around themes linked to technical fields such as home automation, robotics, transport, aeronautics and space, audiovisual, connected agriculture, sports, connected objects (IoT)...
