Master mention Energie, parcours Automatique et Energie Electrique

Course Details

Objectives : The "Automatic and Electrical Energy" course aims to train specialists in modeling, identification and control of electrical systems, knowing that the development of renewable energies (EnR) and smart grids (smartgrids) requires optimizing more and more the performance of energy conversion systems and the advanced control / command approaches of the automatic make it possible to contribute effectively to this optimization by improving the energy efficiency and the quality of the electrical energy.

Public concerned : Students graduating from a Bachelor of Science for Engineering (energy, thermal, mechanics, electronics, physics)

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : Bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences (energy, thermal, mechanics, electronics, physics)

Acquired skills during the training : This multidisciplinary science training for engineers includes a theoretical approach allowing the understanding of the physical phenomena necessary for engineers and a technological approach describing the functioning of industrial systems. At the end of the training, the trained students work as engineers or researchers in the field of energy. They are able to design and optimize energy production and transport systems, with the objective of energy efficiency and sustainable development.

Targeted careers : The targeted trades are all trades in the energy field, from production to consumption. Trained students are hired by SMEs or large groups to work as engineers in:

- energy production (electrical, thermal, mechanical) and renewable energies (solar, wind, hydraulic, chemical)
- the transport of electrical energy
- the sizing of electrical, hydraulic and thermal machines
- energy optimization of industrial systems
- control and command of industrial and transport systems and management of smart grids

Duration and terms : Master in 2 years: M1 and M2
or in 1 year if M1 level acquired
