Course Details

Objectives : The UIMM Bachelor's degree in Process Integration trains middle managers in industrial methods, positioned between senior technician and engineer.

Graduates are able to analyze production processes and propose improvement solutions, define the technical specifications of a preliminary optimization project, manage the deployment of technological solutions, support the digital transformation of production lines, and communicate with various industrial stakeholders.

This program focuses particularly on industrial methods, the optimization of production resources, the factory of the future, and emerging technologies (robotics, digitalization, communication networks, industrial computing).

Course Content
Duration: 1 year (approximately 456 hours spread over 12 months)
Organization: Alternating periods of work experience with periods of theoretical and technical training (AFPI Auvergne & SIGMA Clermont)
The curriculum includes:

• Production management & Lean manufacturing
• Computer science & applied mathematics
• Quality management and metrology
• Additive manufacturing and the factory of the future (robotics, cobotics)
• Product industrialization & CAD/CAM
• Manufacturing process management and optimization
• Work placement project and preparation for the CQPM (Professional Qualification Certificate)
The program combines theoretical input, practical exercises, case studies, and work placement projects for comprehensive professional development.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements : Applicants must hold a two-year post-secondary diploma (BTS, DUT, BUT in an industrial field, etc.) or have significant experience in industrial methods. Selection is based on application, tests, a motivational interview, followed by a search for a host company for a professional training contract (assistance from AFPI Auvergne may be available).

Targeted careers : Technician or operational manager in industrial methods, assistant engineer in production, industrialization or continuous improvement, process integration project manager, contributor to the factory of the future and the digital transformation of production methods
